Johannesburg: SABC confirmed that the Nelson Mandela Challenge match between South Africa and Paraguay will not be broadcast at the Moses Mobada stadium in Durban on Tuesday night.
The announcement was not surprising after the South African Football Association (SFA) national broadcaster also announced the continuation of broadcasts license.
Several discussions between the two parties have recently been extended. SBC has not even broadcast an African Cup for 1-1 at the football stadium against Nigeria.
Safa said that they had tried "all things possible" to reach an agreement with the SABC that they wanted to participate in a competition between Super Eagles and the Nelson Mandela Challenge match against Paraguay. – Current fee configuration failed to accept SABC.
On Tuesday afternoon, SABC confirmed that it would not air Paraguay's competition on all its radio and television platforms.
"The SABC understands and apologizes saying that all South Africans should apologize and say they will make Paraguay a match against Buffett Buffett, which is complicated because the National Team's games can not be broadcast in the deal because SABC and Safa are unable to reach the new contract."
National Broadcasters are insisting that they will continue to interact with Safa until a new agreement arrives.
"The SABC plays a fairly legitimate way since the SABC plays the role of the Buffalo Games for the South Africans in Brazil.
