Police were called after one in the afternoon and four arrests were made for public misconduct and corona virus law violations.
Photographs taken after 5pm show hundreds of young people still outside the shop at this time.
Despite the presence of the corona virus pandemic, many do not seem to keep a social distance.
The group eventually disbanded on the instructions of the police.
In a statement, Metropolitan Police said: “Police were called at 13:09 a.m. Saturday, December 5, to report that a large group of people had tried to break into a shop on Brompton Road in SW1.
A total of four men were arrested – two for Afre, one for violating Kovid rules, another for public order offenses and violating Kovid rules.
“The crowd dispersed.”
Viewers took to social media to describe their shock at the incident.

One Twitter user asked: “What is happening to Harrods ??
“We went out of the shop because of the danger of the FF King inside and out.
“No one wears a mask, no one is challenged ??? #COVIDIOTS. ”
Another added: “If anyone wants to go near Harrods Knightsbridge, do not.

“Everywhere seems to be riot police.”
There were reports of a disorder on social media outside the Harvey Nichols store in Knightsbridge.
London is currently under the control of two corona viruses.
