Alec Baldwin has pleaded guilty to harassment and agreed to take a management management following a dispute over a parking space.

The Hollywood actress was accused of attempting to punch another driver outside his apartment outside Manhattan's Greenwich Village in November.

His lawyer had previously said the star would be vindicated by video evidence.

However, he pleaded guilty at his court appearance in New York earlier.

Baldwin, 60, who starred in sitcom 30 Rock and is also known for his impersonations of Donald Trump on US sketch show Saturday Night Live, only spoke a few words during the hearing.

He agreed to complete the one-day anger management class to resolve the criminal case, the court was told.

The charge is a violation, the lowest level of offense in the US.

If Baldwin completes the class, which means that the record still exists, the evidence can be destroyed or returned.

Baldwin did not comment to reporters after the hearing.
