In 1920, Anders and Emma Sone partnered to award the SEK 250,000 prize to “a prominent Swedish poet”. Eva Rooneyfeld made her debut in 1975 with the novel “Swaken” but has been active mainly as a poet ever since. Her latest collection of poems, “Of the World”, came out earlier this year.
Recent recipients of the Bellman Prize include Goran Sonevi, Lenart Sagren, Tua Forstrom and Gusta Agren.
