Vadra's response to Indira's plea was rejected by the Delhi High Court

Robert Vadra arrives at the Enforcement Directorate (AED) office in connection with the money laundering case.

The Delhi High Court has dismissed the petition filed by the Enforcement Directorate seeking anticipatory bail in the cash case.

Justice Chhanger Sekhar issued notice to the trial court on April 1. He was granted anticipatory bail before anticipatory bail.

Manoj Arora, Vadra's relative, refused to surrender before the court.

Solicitor General Thushar Mehta asked the court to take custody of Vadra as he did not cooperate with the investigation. The gravity of the crime is not discussed in the order.

Vadra, the son-in-law of Rahul Gandhi, was allegedly stolen from the purchase of Bryanston Chakrum, a resident of London, around 1.9 million pounds (around 17 crores).

The case is being investigated in the Prevention of Corruption Prevention Act.
