Jetlines to fly out of YLW
Another ultra-low-cost carrier is going to be flying out of Kelowna.
Canada Jetlines Ltd. announced Thursday it has reached an agreement with Kelowna International Airport to fly out of the Okanagan, subject to the completion of the licensing process and the receipt of applicable regulatory approvals.
"The Okanagan region represents a very important leisure market for Canadians, and we look forward to helping more people get to the country's only desert," Jetlines CEO Javier Suarez said in a press release.
"We firmly believe that our fares need to stimulate more tourism and travel in the region."
