This Saturday evening, TF1 aired the 2020 edition of the NRJ Music Awards. A health crisis is needed and the public was not in the room to attend the ceremony this year. The awards ceremony takes place in the musical scene of Paris and far away from the Palais des Festivals in Cannes.
Performances by artists were also recorded in advance. The awards ceremony took place on Saturday, just hours before the ceremony aired. To ensure the atmosphere, TF1 was chosen to broadcast recordings of the audience’s voice throughout the event. Applause, cheers, cheers, and “public noise” were ubiquitous, seriously disturbing the audience.
On the networks, many Internet users have complained about the production of TF1. “Stop the screaming forever, this is horrible and so wrong, stop the audiovisual massacre”, “It’s ruining the performance”, “This is horrible”, “Stop this horror”, “This year, the background we are touching”, we read on Twitter.
